Assignments
First impressions, class assignments. Honestly my expectations of what this module entailed was completely different to what it actually involves. This module is not only interesting but informative, with multiple different aspects to dive into. I'm really interested in the Unity3D assignment, extra credit Tech tasks and learning more about the Growth Mindset.
This module is unlike anything I've done before and it's very different to the other more practical based modules we have to do this semester. If I had to think of a module similar to this, it would definitely be Intro to Digital Media in year one semester one. In terms of theory and written work it is very similar, but of course the contents of the two modules are different in many aspects.
I like how different each aspect of the assignments are to each other, and how some are more interactive to our class groups like commenting on each others blogs, getting to know one another more in the process and giving feedback on our projects, helping each other get to where we need to go. This will definitely help me interact with people more within the year and be able to find classmates with similar interests to me.

In terms of the extra credit tasks, I will definitely be participating and attempting them throughout the semester. Some are really interesting and knowledgeable, like the Growth Mindset and Tech tasks. The Wikipedia Trails task seems really fun to try and I know I will definitely enjoy that task when I attempt it.
Overall my impressions of this module and its assignments is very positive, it doesn't feel too daunting right now but I'm up for a challenge if I encounter one throughout the module. I like how we can choose which grade we want to achieve and aim for, it gives me a grade I know I want to aim for and I can organise how to get there through doing the assignment and extra task options.
